The first step is the presentation of the new logo. The next one is intensification of events and activities in Belgium and Netherlands. Also Van Gogh Europe is going to increase the amount of tour operators that are interested in such a cultural pilgrimage. The main goal is to combine the food, countryside, museums and creative industry into one single performance, that will give visitors an opportunity to feel the Van Gogh’s lifestyle.

In France the towns of Arles, Auvers-sur-Oise and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence are working on a fusion of their partnership. A digital Van Gogh Route will form part of the programme of Marseille-Provence 2013, European Capital of Culture.

But the main goal for the future is to link all the physical and mental parts of the journey into one single product that could be promoted in proper way. The longer term ambition is to achieve the European Cultural Heritage Label for Van Gogh Europe.
